An Odakyu Electric Railway video explaining the role of the conductor.  Opening doors, closing doors, makin announcements and adjusting the air conditioning.

 

One interesting segment focuses on the different types of controls for opening and closing doors. Some trains have buttons and some older trains have a key which has to be inserted and turned to control the doors.
