disturbman
Not a very powerfull video but still, it does the trick. I have yet to find a "top speed runing" high quality video of this train. Enjoy edit: I guess you can view this video as a birthday present. Link to comment
westfalen
Some shots I took of it at Sapporo and, a few days later, Furano in 1994. The train was sent off from Sapporo by a brass band and officials cutting ribbons for TV crews, may have been the train's first run? Link to comment
bill937ca
The train was sent off from Sapporo by a brass band and officials cutting ribbons for TV crews, may have been the train's first run? It could have been a person perceived as important by the local mayor. I've heard stories of American officials trying to do surprise inspections of schools during the occupation only to be greeted at every stop by the mayor and brass bands. The mayor had been tipped off by Japanese police. Link to comment
disturbman
1994?! And I still have the impression this train looks up-to-date?! Gee... what a design. And another video. You can clearly hear the engine hum in the second part of the video. And another one at higher speeds. Link to comment
