SDOWL
I came across this line of engines while looking thru Hobby Search. Looks like they were produced between 2009-2012. The company seemingly disappeared without a trace. Searching the web produced no additional information. Does anyone have information on these unique locomotives? The price point was interesting, falling between rtr and high end brass. They seem to be in demand when they do surface. Link to comment
bill937ca
This is what we are talking about. They were offered 2007-2011. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=104&cat=rail&target=make&searchkey=Real+Line Edited February 28, 2023 by bill937ca Link to comment
bill937ca
Real Line went out of business in 2012 and their web site was deleted in 2015. It was probably a small garage producer. Closing could be because of health, lack of demand or production or acceptance issues. From N gauge steam locomotive real line A manufacturer that has been developing variations of the plastic D51 since 2007. Although it is a plastic product, it was not a mass-produced product, and it was hand-made and produced a small amount of D51 with a specific number. The detailed expression, which was not found in the preceding plastic products, shocked the fans at the time of the announcement. Handling may be a little difficult for beginners. It has been closed since 2012, and the official website was closed at the end of 2015. http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~toyoyasu/entry.htm Link to comment
bill937ca
From N gauge steam locomotive 2012 Memo. http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~toyoyasu/index.htm 2012.7.23 Product list. Since there are not many real line products listed here, I made only a character list. The sales period is less than 5 years, but it is a great number. http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~toyoyasu/m120723.htm 2012.3.30 An official announcement has been made on the company's website that the Real Line shopping site will be temporarily closed. Since the fall of last year, purchasers have been notified of individual closures, but I think it was just a personal letter. The company's products appeared in 2007, and it's already been five years. It is not hard to imagine that the products that suddenly appeared from a new manufacturer, overflowing with a spirit of challenge, had some kind of impact on the existing manufacturers. The first time, the number of items was small, and I couldn't get it even if I wanted it. From N gauge steam locomotive 2015 Memo http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~toyoyasu/memo2015.htm 2015.12.27 I feel like I can't connect to the official website of Real Line. Link to comment
