marknewton
Tomorrow will be the 62nd anniversary of the final closure of the Sydney tramway network. As usual the Sydney Tramway Museum will be holding an event day to commemorate the closure. All our operable Sydney trams will be in service, as well as heritage buses from our collection and some from our good friends at the Sydney Bus Museum. My son Harry and I spent today at the museum preparing our steam tram motor for display tomorrow. I also managed to do a bit of work on our gorgeous Japanese tram, Nagasaki Electric Tramway Co. No.1054. Cheers, Mark. 10 Link to comment

katoftw
Nice. I'm trying to convince the wife to allow my 14yo for time off school for Thrilmere next month. Link to comment
tridentalx
I missed this but I will be in Sydney during April/May for work so I will be paying a visit to both tram and bus museums. Link to comment
