bill937ca
Its coming up to March that time of year when Japanese railways make abandonments and retire rolling stock. One of the early Tomytec tram releases was the Hiroden 350 group cars 351 and 352. Until recently 351 and 353 were in regular service in their 65th year mainly during morning rush hours and special events like the Flower Festival and the Fireworks Festival. After dismantling, the parts will be used to keep 352 running for special events. In true Japanese style there will be a final photo shoot before 351 and 353 are retired. Time for a rerun Tomytec? https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10209283 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10157950 Hiroden was once known as a tram museum for all the old trams running on the streets, but now only the 1900 series runs in significant numbers.
