Second hand HO DC locomotives

We will be visiting Tokyo/Kyoto in June. Any recommendations on where to find second hand low cost HO scale (DC) locomotives? It's for my 6 year old son and he likes steam and diesel locos...not so much of the Shinkansen stuff. I don't know how big the market is for used HO scale items in Japan but thought I'd reach out and see if anyone has more info on this. Thank you.

Mandarake in  the Nakano Broadway building has a model train shop (along with dozens of anime shops). I looked and there were only five HO items listed online at this time.

Monta would be one option if you have any chance to stay in Tokyo.

Like some other shops, this store calls 1/80 scale as 16-ban instead of HO. 

 

Buyee would be another way to bid items in Yahoo Japan Auction from out of Japan. I got many model trains by buyee!
