chadbag
Just looking at the pics this is a standard hardwire of a decoder and doesn't require an EM13. In fact I wouldn't use an EM13 as there are other much smaller decoders out there even if you cut up an EM13 🙂 I actually bought one (not the chicken one but a different pocket tram) when in Japan last month so will have to dig it out of the suitcase and open it and try this with one of my small decoders. Looks straight forward, Thanks for posting this! Link to comment
chadbag
So I have the PocketLine tram 14-503-3 "Patrol tram". This seems to use a new motor body using a coreless motor and does not look at all like the one in the video 😞 I was not able to easily see how to get the plastic top off the motor unit to expose the actual motor and stuff yet. Need to find my fine motor skill eyeglasses 🙂 Link to comment
bill937ca
It was late when I came across this. Opps it is the older version. 1 Link to comment
chadbag
Still handy for those who have older editions. The video shows the various bits win easy steps. 1 Link to comment
chadbag
I also bought the Pcket Line Series Electrical Freight Train 10-504-1 and it has the same basic motor unit as the updated tram. 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
I've got both the Freight train and a Pocket Line tram with the new drive also. I also repowered my Chicken Ramen Pocket Line tram with the coreless drive. But no DCC. 1 Link to comment
