Guest ___
I have the jeweler's case, but no instructions on how to change the couplers on this guy. Anyone know how to swap out the knuckle for a single rapido? I'm sure this is easier than I am making it out to be, but for some reason this one is stumping me. Link to comment
Guest ___
Better question should be, does anyone have a copy scanned of the instructions that shipped with the KATO EF58? Link to comment
David
I assume you have, but just to cover the obvious, have taken the foam out of the plastic case to check underneath? Link to comment
Guest ___
There's no foam, as it has a jeweler's case, but yes, already did that. I had bought this guy used last year from a bloke in the UK. It came with everything but the sheet. I tried the usual coupler removal method, but either it is stuck, and I fear breaking the shaft inside the pocket, or the coupler comes out in a different manner than my KATO EF66 does. Martijn Meerts
This is from Kato 3038, EF58-61 Link to comment
Guest ___
Ok, so it does come out like I thought then. I either need to give them more pull, or look down there there closer and see if the last owner didn't glue that box down shut. thanks Martjin. Link to comment
