Hi; I'm a retired military guy, just getting into model railroading (I'm going to try the DCC route).  I've been buying Kato track, getting set up on a 4x8 layout.   Got a Digitrax starter set.  I will, I'm sure, be asking many questions some have heard here before.  I do prefer asking directly rather than searching FAQ's, although I will give that a shot, because the answers I get are more helpful that way, I've found.  So, I'm looking forward to having fun and learning!  Mike
