Kato 23-417 Suburban Station

Would anyone know of any suppliers that has a Kato 23-417 Suburban Station area in stock? I have tried my usual shops without any success ☹️

Hobby Search shows that 23-217 was released in May 2005. None of the big Japanese stores (which do not ship overseas) have it, so it is either gone forever like it seems many Diotown items are or in a lengthy Kato non-production bliss. I think Diotown items have been superseded by Unitram pavement plates with no specific station front item package.       https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10040482

You can, however, find typical pieces from Greenmax and Tomytec.

I had picked one up a number of years back on a hs sale, which is usually an indication with Japanese train stuff that it’s not moving. The diotown line never got full traction and unitram didn’t seem to resurrect it much. Tomytec kept pumping so many new buildings over the years I think they just swamped Kato.

Mark you can get the little dropdown menu in the top right of each post window at the little … button.

 

there select “Report” and you can drop us a note you need the post deleted, otherwise just edit your post to say “moderators please delete post” and that would do it if we see it. Reports will flag at us to look for it!

 

you can also use the Report feature if you see any spam or out of bounds or suspect content. Reports go to just the staff for review and action.

 

a few of us try to scan all the posts, but reporting issues helps us deal with things faster and better.

DioTown 23-417 Suburban Station Area Set (In-front-of-station Facility Set) is on the Kato January release list.  It would be a good idea to preorder this item as new items sometimes sell out on release.
