I'd love to see an article written by a Japanese on the subject. This article seems to have a lot of fluff and that make the subject somewhat unbelievable to the extent they say the acceptance is.

My entirely subjective impression as someone living in Japan is that I the term "SDG" bandied about a fair bit in a "hey aren't we a good little corporation, look we're using paper straws now" kind of way, but I am not aware of any real world impact. And I never heard of an "SDG wheel" before.

NYT was pay gated and Google didn't help with the NYT version of this article but it seems the Japan Times has reprinted it and that was available to me
