Rev Counter
That lighting looks really good and moody! I like the highlights and shadows it picks out on the tree and the concrete pipe sections. It adds some real atmosphere to the scenes. 1 Link to comment

It gives me the Covid Lockdown vibes I didn't max the voltage for the softness. sadly someone play with the powersupply and accidentally put it on 12V. all is busted at the moment 😅 Link to comment

They will limit the current and prevent that from happening. Do you know how to do that? I can provide more details. Edited March 22, 2023 by Madsing Typos 1 Link to comment

cteno4
For 12v max supply you want an 470 ohm resistor to limit your current so it won’t blow if turned all the way up to 12v. https://www.ebay.com/itm/295572052782?hash=item44d1779b2e:g:lrgAAOSw1TFkFQTD&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4P8rznmhfA1OBp3fVbi1jt7yhZTj3K%2BX1FZhrqkAEZVhzwdek0Mu4L9vmaQIpU6BaNJ47eQff9l5AuHYvNMnInKBUcBeE1dNNunM4YLQXR9cbYsYpNjg%2FRlxffRPjXXMa2u88ZPsJj5p2PAfLovviqGRasp5amGs7RmTu1UWyYQchf2LAp%2Bvjxbe%2Bo0lp2PzU8WMf8V996iRKiDTCFI9h1QZGexQEVnMgQ6nS4F44HqHEHpwwq68bkqOxENYqfdPzYC8Ma8iqC1zkPCByo1D%2BF%2FnriZASsxAdobBpjEMBUE5|tkp%3ABk9SR86MpYThYQ you can also just use a fixed 12v power supply and wire in a 2k variable resistor in series with the 470 ohm fixed, limiting resistor to dim the lights individually to the desired brightness. Or save power and use a 5v fixed power supply and you only need a 100 ohm limiting resistor and can use the same 2k variable resistor to dim the led. https://www.ebay.com/itm/363819388201?hash=item54b5534d29:g:8wcAAOSwwRtcgygC&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8LR6AFFbz62eIOPm36%2FuHylGFRx4KKk1vAshMDivGTKHXjYcrbi0PRx4h27TYaS%2FZYLwLgkrXA4pvuod3%2BxkE5X9Oc9GbgnpXRc3DXoj26UoCSBeVdSl6HVrvFyPNdQH4MLney7NWF979MZVsn3GSJWGXQlqm7GKR9VABmzA8xjWWqGcrO7ouEDavy39rK3VTxPXNpJbCWcDbrWsqKlrC4z2TcbyT2ENRR4BHiXpgvO%2B9ajWsE15eS5PWJgWEl3m9bLBc0KzuLWzWtqAUSX1wL68DIflDey5jKGo5jQznmOcF5SR00WZHrT4YjfD8qgm6w%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_Kn6oPhYQ its dangerous to use a led without a limiting resistor as it’s easy to put too much current through it with a fixed or variable power supply. cheers jeff 3 Link to comment

cteno4
the generic architectural figures are sort of average height at 1/150 and maybe taller average height than some countries. they are pretty close to tomytec 1/150 japanese n scale figures, maybe a tad taller on average. they are defititely taller than 1/160 n scale figures. jeff 1 Link to comment

cteno4
Nice! You can also put a variable resistor in line with your LEDs to set the brightness so things don’t end up glowing. LEDs at full blast are like little mini suns and way brighter point source than you have in buildings, so turning them down some can help a lot. Also if you have more than one led in a building you can do interesting things with them. cheers jeff 1 Link to comment
