Availability of Tomytec Aviation Equipment

So for my layout I’m eventually going to build, I want to include a JASDF/JGSDF/USAF/etc. base, and theTomytec aviation equipment  series looks perfect for it, but I have been unable to find it in stock anywhere other than overpriced on eBay or probably on Yahoo auctions somewhere(I haven’t looked yet, because I’m not entirely accustomed to the site yet). Does anyone know of a good place that I could find it reasonably priced?

YAJ generally has much better prices than EBay for Japanese goods.  I do most of my buying through ZenMarket, sometimes through Buyee.  I do all my saved searches through Buyee because you can set those for email notifications of new listings.
 
Best way to search is in Japanese.  From the 1999 page, take '/eng' out of the URL to get the Japanese text.  Compare to the English text to find the keywords you're looking for.  Cut and paste into Google Translate to make sure you got the right words.  Then paste into Buyee YAJ search.

If you are willing to paint some models yourself. The is many available.

 

Check the military section of hobby search and click the afv or planes 1/144 sections.

Platz, Hasegawa and Aoshima produce some nice 1/144 scale model JASDF aircraft. There were a few other companies like F-Toys that did some series of pre-painted aircraft models but these things seem difficult to find these days. The C-2 kit from Aoshima looks pretty good.

 

As for JGSDF vehicles, Pitt Road produce the Type 16 Armoured vehicles in 1/144 as well as the Type 99 155mm Howitzer. They will need painting but they are pretty nice little models and 3 in a box.

Tomytec produced some troop trucks but some time ago. They are branching out into combat scenery so they may very well reproduce some of their vehicles in the future.

 

Sankei do or at least did some paper control tower and hangar kits. 

 

Also a company in the UK, Scale model scenery produce chain link fence kits for n scale.

Yeah, I’ve seen the F-toys, Platz, and pit road stuff, but this is the only place I’ve seen with ground crew short of repainting normal airport ones.
