scott
Does anybody know what the round clumps of seaweed that some people use for tree-tops are? I've seen pictures of some on Japanese layouts, but I don't know what it is or how to get it. Link to comment
qwertyaardvark
I cant quite say I entirely understand what you are describing. Do you have any links to pictures of them being used on layout? Link to comment
scott
Not online yet, but if I find some I'll post it. Link to comment
cteno4
in bad times you could browse on your trees! think you might have to glycerin stabilize it as dried seaweed will suck up moisture and then slowly expand (and perhaps give off a funky smell as well). i think i know the type you are talking about. jeff Link to comment
scott
After looking online a bit, I think what I thought was seaweed was actually "reindeer moss" lichen. Sorry to be dense.... Link to comment
cteno4
even lichen has to be stabilized with glycerin! i liked the idea of the edible layout! i actually love to much on dried seaweed! cheers jeff Link to comment
