Lovely.  And the Revaty was the second train I rode on in Japan.  I have resisted the temptation to buy one (so far) but it does have great appeal to me.

The last for now T-Trak-module is finally done. I nearly went crazy during the process of curing the epoxy for the water effects. I hope you enjoy my sunny pictures as much I've enjoyed modelling this scenery the last months

Nice. Now some dirt and grime and things...

It's always cool to see how much "screen shots of life" can be reproduced in a small scene. Well done.

Hi Jeff, most of buildings and structures are my own lasercut creations. The storage towers are made of containers for cereals. Some parts are kit-bashed. The gatehouse is a greenmax kit. All streetlamps are from a german manufacturer named Viessmann. What else do you wanna know?

Thanks, just curious, always interesting to see what folks used, kitbashed, or scratch built! I really want to get a lasercutter! Great for buildings like this and i enjoy the process of designing and building that 2d laster cutting does over 3D printing.

love the use of the cereal containers for the tanks. The painted cardboard gave that slightly unregular look you see on big steel rolled sections on tanks like that. Much nicer than totally smooth plastic.

cheers

I tried both too. 3d printing and 2d laser cutting. I agree with you. Designing a 2d laser cut is much more fun.
