Nice to see some evolution on their lighting kits to many lower leds to give more even lighting. Looks like even one cap on there to help flicker as well. Hopefully price won’t be exorbitant.

everybody now:

Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener,
That is what I'd truly like to be-ee-ee.
'Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener,
Everyone would be in love with me.

More an Airstream camper than a wiener.  See https://www.airstream.com/blog/5-vintage-airstream-restoration-principles/  -- Scroll to the bottom and look at the before and after shots.

It’s pretty much wienered out. I did buy a squeak toy that may make a decent hot dog train, we shall see.

besides I don’t think many have mustarded the courage to post about it and many need to catsup on the topic, but I relish the thought of a wiener train…

This was one of my cherished places to go as a kid for a meal, beat mc Donald’s out hands down!

for a long time there was a guy in west Oakland in the 80s and 90s that collected odd huge props on a big lot right under the elevated BART train tracks and he had a couple of the dogie diner heads (like 8-10’ tall) along with a like 25’ diameter flying saucer prop from some movie and all sorts of weird stuff. I tried to find it driving around but he had mesh up on the fence so you could not see stuff, so it was always fun to try to get a glimpse of these oddities from the air on BART as you zoomed by into the trans bay tunnel.
