cteno4
Foot switches are wonderful tools. You can plug them into AC then plug your electrical tool into the switch and activate it easily when needed with your foot. Mostly I use them on when using roto tools and sometimes with the small drill press when doing larger batch jobs. Great as you and just keep working with both hands and no issues having to reach back to turn the tool on/off. the headslap tonight was I was doing some heat shrink which requires a lot of manipulation and in between stuff while doing a bunch of them. Usually I just leave the heat gun on but it is noisy and hot. Tired the foot switch on it and worked great. After the first one the gun was hot in a couple of seconds each later time. cheers jeff 1 Link to comment
