Kamome
Attended an exhibition of the Kumamoto based photographer in JR Kyushu Hall in Hakata station building. There was a huge amount of prints on display as well as a large number of models for you to take photos of. I assume i’m not breaking any copyright laws as these are my own photos of the models and differ from those of the artist. There was a lot of Preiser and Tomytec scenery items used along with the plastic food made for restaurant displays. Very fun exhibition. 14 1 Link to comment

Kamome
“He’s playing A sharp.” All of his pictures had whimsical titles although the translation to English didn’t always quite catch the joke. 3 Link to comment
disturbman
Did it create new unintended joke? I remember a lovely “There is no kitty inside” card accompanying a fossilised dinosaur egg in a museum in Korea. I always loved Tatsuya Tanaka’s work. Always so inventive. JR East
As you know, I'm also an amateur photographer. Those pictures remind me one of the first to do that : Allan Teger (I'm following him for almost 10 years) I really loved the way he was using a nude woman body to create incredible scenarios. I do find his black and white photos splendid, tha way he plays with shadow and light to sculpt volums, hiding and showing what he wants to show thus ... what is outstanding is his capability to show the scene first then let you realize it has been setup on a nude body. https://bodyscapes.com/collections I let you discover it and crawl the website. You have also an explanation of a shooting. JM. Link to comment
