The Birmingham train spotter
I'm going to press forward a layout idea to the Birmingham model railway club about a Japanese N Gauge layout called The railway of the rising sun and it'll be set around the 1990s to the late 2007s. I want it to consist of 5 full loop lines and one Shinkansen high rise section that'll be in a crowded Busy city,it'll based off Toyko. Two loops will have a Freight service running whilst the rest will have normal local passenger or special movements Fleet: For passenger services I wanted to purchase a Type Kiha 82 DMU, A Kiha 40 DMU, A Kiha 52, A EF62 with a Blue Fuji Train. For freight I want to purchase a DD51 and a EF65. For the Shinkansen I want to purchase a O series Shinkansen 1 Link to comment
Claude_Dreyfus
I wish you luck. Japanese models don't always have a universal following at clubs, so if you can convince your fellow club members, you're doing well... It would be nice to see another Japanese layout available for the circuit, there aren't too many of us! 1 Link to comment
The Birmingham train spotter
@Claude_Dreyfus Thank you very much, The Club members complain about a lack of layouts so I decided to do one myself and to promote Japanese N Gauge Link to comment
