miyakoji
I wonder how JR determines the service life of rolling stock, and how the parameters differ in Thailand, because these things look rough. The Niigata builder plate around 0:27 is from 1982. Seating looks ok, much how I remember limited express interiors 15 years ago, which were probably refurbs from the late '90s. SRT previously got one KIHA 183 car in 2016. I wonder what you do with only one KIHA 183. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KiHa_183_series Link to comment
railsquid
Maybe they were evaluating it to check that the class can cope with the extreme winter conditions in Thailand? 3 Link to comment
