Jaco3011
Once again, very little information on this topic in english. HoKi 800 series ballast hoppers and it's derivatives are or were in use on 1067mm, 1372mm and 1435mm gauges. Keikyu has a few DeTo freight EMUs used to carry stuff between facilities. English wikipedia doesn't even mention Keikyu non-passenger rolling stock. Typing "931 series shinkansen" in google doesn't give any info on 931 series (which is HoKi 800 converted to standard gauge and used for carrying ballast for shinkansen network). 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
To really learn anything you need to use Google Translate and Japanese Wikipedia. Translate the railway name to start and use Google to translate the Japanese language page. From my You Tube playlists, this is the Sangi Railway. From the search that brought the link for the video, here is a list of Sangi videos. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=三岐鉄道 貨物列車 3716レ 富田駅到着~機関車付け替え The Japanese language page on the Sangi Railway: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/三岐鉄道 Sangi Railway Sangi Line: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/三岐鉄道三岐線#車両 Sangi Railway Hokusei Line https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/三岐鉄道北勢線#車両 Link to comment

bill937ca
Jōshin Dentetsu Jōshin Line. I believe Deha 101 was used to move ballast cars within the last ten years. it is now preserved, although they now use a 1924 loco. Very rare, you don't see this everyday. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jōshin_Dentetsu_Jōshin_Line Joshin Dentetsu Joshin Line https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/上信電鉄上信線 Vehicles https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/上信電鉄#車両 Edited November 4, 2021 by bill937ca 1 Link to comment
