I haven't been able to find another source but HS posted a 1:144 replica of the beloved Tower of the Sun that was created for the Osaka Expo 70.

Price point is a bit steep but that could make for an interesting structure on any layout.

Saw that. I don't really need a 50cm tall structure on my layout. It is quite interesting though.

The base would need a bit of covering but it would definitely be more suited for smaller layouts.

Need to do the whole sculpture park and that’s many acres! little Hakone rr in the corner of the room then.
 

It is a really nice museum, one of my all time favorites as it’s setting of the sculptures in the gardens is the best I’ve ever seen.

There is indeed a large park around the Tower of the Sun, but the nearest railroad is the Osaka Monorail line, not the Hakone Railway.

 

I was more thinking the tower could be incorporated on a station plaza.

I think Jeff just meant it would work in a park modelled similar to the one in Hakone. But if I am wrong in thinking that, rhe he can correct us both. 😜

Sorry not I had a neuron art fart there. I was thinking the tower of sun was at the Hakone park it was the stain glass staircase that’s at hakone! I’ve seen the tower of the sun as well just got places scrambled.
