Accident on Tokaido Shinkansen 18/10/2021

There seems to be an accident today on the Tokaido Shinkansen near Toyohashi station... one woman was killed in the accident... Tokaido shinkansen also ceased operations for a while resulting in huge delays...

A man entered the shinkansen tracks a few days/weeks back as well. It would be a tremendous effort to "fall" onto the tracks, so my presumption was that this was some kind of protest or suicide.
