New elevated platforms at Manggarai Station

On September 26th 2021, a part of the elevated platforms is finally opened after 5 years of construction, this is part of a bigger plan to upgrade capacity which includes moving Intercity trains here when the facilities are complete. Currently the upper platforms are assigned for City-bound trains on the Red Line (Jakarta Kota - Bogor)

 

Manggarai station is the busiest station on the Greater Jakarta Commuter rail Network opened in 1914.
