Mitaka Overpass to be dismantled

The famous Mitaka Overpass, favourite spot of noted author Osamu Dazai, is to be removed.

It was still there as of last week.

 

I posted a thread with pictures on it a few years ago:

Yeah what's happened there? Seems like the picture issue only cropped up over the last week or so?

No idea, haven't checked the thread for years. I'll see if I can find them and reupload to Flickr; things like this happening is why I usually avoid uploading pictures directly to forums...
