Kiha66
Interesting its in the 7 stars scheme, I wonder if this is planned to replace their JNR units. 1 Link to comment
miyakoji
Glad to see that, if for no other reason than that it’s in a different color. Mizushima Rinkai in Kurashiki have bought one, which they’re calling 600 subseries, and Keiyo Rinkai have gotten one numbered 800 subseries. Both look the same as the JR Freight units. Especially unfortunate in the case of Keiyo as their other diesels are blue, would have looked good. 1 Link to comment
miyakoji
In the train-fan.com link below, you can compare DD200-801 in the third picture and DD200-6 in the fourth. DD200-6 has a small vertical window where DD200-801's window appears to be the same height but maybe three times wider. The link also says that the JRF engines have ATS-PF in addition to SF, in order to operate on JR lines, as well as radio antennas that the Mizushima and Keiyo units lack. https://train-fan.com/dd200-keiyo-mizushima/ Edited June 19, 2021 by miyakoji 1 Link to comment
