Darren Jeffries
I have been musing over creating a more custom theme look to the board. I have found a base template which is far more feature filled than the Phobos design or any of the other designs. It is customisable and comes with all the base files that you can edit, however i am as good with Photoshop and Flash as i am with knitting... :P Does anybody here have any experience with these software packages and if so would you be willing to help? Martijn Meerts
I know both Photoshop and Flash quite well. As well as html, xhtml, css and all that. I guess I should really know those, since I work as a webdeveloper =) I can probably help out, but it'll be a while before I have time to really sit down with it, and I'm not necessarily good at designing. I cna usually come up with 1 or 2 good designs per year, but those have been used up for 2008 ;) Link to comment
CaptOblivious
I'm not half-bad at it, I don't think—although don't judge me on my train blog, as I'm really unhappy with the design on that site. I do know my way around Photoshop and Illustrator, but since my livlihood doesn't depend on it, I'm probably not as good at any of this as Martijn. Still, and all, I was just thinking the other day about the very same thing, and started playing around with alternatives to the JNS logo (which, interestingly, doesn't appear in the Phobos theme...). Not that I have anything worthwhile yet. Anyway, point being, I have more skill than many, less skill than Martijn, but perhaps more free time (at least, right now), and I'm happy to spend some of that here :D Link to comment
