Was working on a paper for a film class, and saved this shoot. Studio Ghibli puts soo much detail in to there movies that I cant help but share this. The film is Only Yesterday

 

near the beginning of the movie there is a shot of an ED75 pulling a sleeper train the main character is taking

Meanwhile "When Marnie was there" features a pretty accurate 286系.

 

I also highly recommend watching "The Wind Rises" if you're into aviation.

In other Ghibli films, "From up on Poppy Hill" has some nice shots of the characters riding a 63系 between Tokyo and Yokohama.
