So you want something really different for your port scene? Try a heavy lift transport ship! Always love these! You could do it with the ship bridge module on it or another ship back there. Even empty it’s interesting. 1/250 papercraft so it would need to be scanned and rezed up to 1\150. It’s tempting me... I do have a large format scanner and printer...

I think there are two small ro-ro ferries available 1/150 on YJA if someone needs more variety. They are laser cut papercraft (similar to Sankei kits) but needs to be painted.

Hmm. Considering the stress and effort involved in putting together a card kit, I don’t think I’d ever buy one that needed painting. For me the level of finished detail is the main reason to buy card/paper craft models.

Nice! It always flips me out when I see what they transport with these heavy lift ships. Whole oil rig platforms sticking way out, just looks like it should flip over with a touch! 
 

article is a bit off, don’t know where they got the 138’ depth, max submerged depth is 96’.

then there is this monster for oil rig transport, setup and decommissioned. While it doesn’t sink itself to do a lift, it’s just damn massive...

Oh and throw in pipe line layer, they had to use that hull capacity of two full hulls and the rear of the ship for something.
