Kanpai Keith
Iām looking to pick up an ED62 for my ālittleā layout. Ā I see the Tomix model will handle c140 curves, can anyone comment on what radius curves the Kato model will handle. Ā Iām also interested to know which is the better model in terms of accuracy/details and running. Ā Many thanksĀ Keith Link to comment
disturbman
Seeing how both released their model in 2017, itās really a question of small preferences.Ā They are barely any differences in quality between the products of the four major producers. Ā Kato has the advantageĀ of having all wheels black. Personally, I find that TomixĀ detailing parts are easier to install and hold better in the long run. Kanpai Keith
Thank you @disturbman Ā AfterĀ some searching it appears the Kato recommends minimum of r249 curves. Ā Ā Tomix it is, bring on them ridiculously tight curves š¤£ Ā Edited February 2, 2021 by Kanpai Keith Link to comment
