Custom Via Duct

Needed a via duct that would span 3 tracks without the walls. I wanted it to be open so you could see the trains.

 

Used some of what Tomix uses in their design but adopted it for the Kato piers. I need to do some touch up work

and color match the Piers.

Nice work!  Clever reuse of the kato piers, that saves a lot of 3d printing time.

Why not just paint both the Kato piers and your piers too? The Kato piers look quite plasticy as they are.

I actually tried to color match the resin. You can see how the first half are gray and the last 4 are white. I

should have used the off color resin instead of the white. Color matching the resin is a pain its a lot of trial and error

which I did not have time for.

 

We'll see how it goes painting them.
