Kingmeow
No rotation. The left edge of the picture aligns with the vertical columns and the right edge of the picture aligns with the vertical panel lines. 🙂 1 Link to comment
kuro68000
Kofu, Yamanashi. https://maps.app.goo.gl/DfbT4PDunWt5FWaAA This one does look like it needs rotating, but it's because it is on a slope. I'm getting a little better at this, embracing the darkness. Specifically I mean not trying to get everything nicely lit so it ends looking flat. Allow some stuff to be too under-exposed. I'm working through some train Laserdiscs at the moment. Going on my YouTube channel and Internet Archive as I complete them. Edited Thursday at 12:53 PM by kuro68000 Link to comment

Kingmeow
I also do some real estate photography. Looking at the far left/right edges is key, especially with ultra wide angles (~15mm full frame or ~10mm ASP-C). Sometimes I get too anal about it. 🤣 1 Link to comment
kuro68000
I've said before that I'd like to get a proper camera, but I find it hard to wrap my head around setting cameras up to take good shots, and the only ones with really good auto modes are very expensive. Something like a Fujifilm x100v (or the newer model that replaces it) would be good, especially for reducing noise in night shots... But it's hard to beat how convenient the Pixel phone is, and how well it works. That said I could probably improve what I do with the phone. I need to get better at framing the image, and I need to experiment a bit more with Night Sight to see how it affects noise in the RAWs. I tend to think it looks too bright, but of course that can be fixed easily enough if you have the RAW. 1 Link to comment
Kingmeow
If you are in Japan, the used market is insanely good for great cameras at cheap prices (compared to the US). 1 Link to comment

Maybe that's the plan then. My gimbal only has a clamp for phones unfortunately though. Maybe I can get an adapter or something. Link to comment
