railsquid Posted December 13, 2020 Share Posted December 13, 2020 Two zenmen-toubou videos from 1988 and 1989: which I found fascinating as the 1988 one is just before the start of the generation long project (completed in 2018) to double the line between Noboritou and Yoyogi-Uehara from 2 to 4 tracks. If you look at the 1988 video from just after Seijou-Gakuenmae where the line comes out of the cutting to the west of the station, there's a hint of construction activity; from the same place in the 1989 video, the line is already diverted and in places the elevated section is under construction. That section was complete by 1996 (which is when I first got to know the line), the rest took a lot longer. 5 Link to comment
