Double soldering tweezer with stand. Again, there are lots of ways to do this, but since this is such a common task, the simplicity of this item looks like it would please every time. Another item to fill the stocking!!

It's quite expensive for what it is, especially considering it's easy enough to do without.. Pre-tin the wires, hold 1 wire in some tweezers, hold the other wire in your hand 🙂

Now that's one of those "why didn't I think of that?" kind of ideas. I will splash out on a second pair of functional but chunky tweezers from the 100 yen shop, and with various bits lying around I'm sure I can come up with something similar.
