Tiny, tiny magnets

Interesting.  Not sure what I would do with ones that tiny....
 
For the more normal neodynes of 2mm or larger diameter, I tend to buy the by the 100 count bags from Deal Extreme.  
If there's a modelling problem, I've got a magnet for that!

Would the super small ones work to trigger sensors and stuff?  I would think being rare earth that even small should put out enough magnetic field to trigger but I don't know enough about this.  Really small ones could be blended in on the bottom of vehicles to trigger sensors (if strong enough) without being really noticable.

Probably too far to trip Hall effect sensors. I thin folks have good luck with 3 or 4mm x 1mm discs. Unless you don’t like having a small disc there whe you flip over a car. Small like 2-4mm cubes could be used and just look like a pice of undercarriage equipment.
