On what radius of track can I run a Kato C62

I have a question regarding the expansion of my collection. Im thinking of buying a KATO C62 Joban line. But would the train clear a 249mm radius without derailing? Or would I need a 282mm minimum? Because Ive tried using the Farish city of birmingham on my layout, which has a similar wheel configuration, needless to say, it is quite picky.
