Wooden or Concrete Ties for 60’s-80’s Layout

Hi guys,

 

Just about to order my first N scale track, I’m planning on an urban 2 level layout with goods yard based roughly around the 1960’s to 1980’s.  I’m not anal about being prototypical I just want a decent enough representation. Would wooden or concrete ties be most appropriate or a mix?
