Steve
Hello Folks, does someone have this Set and can tell me if it comes with any rub-on Transfers like JR or JNR Icons ect.? Thanks. Link to comment
railsquid
According to the web page: https://www.tomytec.co.jp/tomix/products/n/98608.html car numbers and the JR mark are added already ("車番、JRマークは印刷済み"). Link to comment

Thats wondering me - every Pics I see of the 98608 Set do not have any JR Marks on it, Tomix Website included.... The Prototype got large white JR Marks on the Sides at a certain Time. railsquid
It's entirely possible the prototype of the set modelled didn't have JR logos on it; this is it in 2016: https://www.flickr.com/photos/127582064@N06/28349298264/ and I can't see any obvious JR logos on it. Steve
I guess it would make the most when the Set includes the JR AND the JNR Marks for most duability. Link to comment
railsquid
It's a model designed to represent a particular set in a particular period, specifically the N1/N2 set as it appears from 2016 onward, which was the last 583 set in active service. Link to comment
railsquid
Anyway I've found the JR mark for you, it's not exactly large: http://sonicrailgarden.sakura.ne.jp/seat_583-n1n2.html and appears to be on the model as delivered: http://blog.miyakomokei.com/?p=11394 Link to comment
Steve
Even on the Pics I found, the JR Marks are so small, you can't realy see them on them. Thanks for your assistance and help! Edited June 7, 2020 by Steve Link to comment
