My dad went to Osaka in the later 1960s for a few months (he worked for GE and they were installing / supporting some mainframes at a steel plant). I would assume that it would be a similar look and feel to Tokyo, though about 5 or 6 years later... I think I saw a couple VW bugs in the oncoming traffic though they could have been something else similar. Hard to tell. (about 0:20 and about 2:30) 1 Link to comment

One thing has remained constant - the iconic green station makers with the clocks on the Toden. There is a great view of one at the 0:56 mark in the 1960s video. You can still see these at many stations on the Toden today. 2 Link to comment
