bill937ca
FYI, Tokyo Rail is holding a 20-25% off sale until November 21, 0:00 a.m. (Japan Standard Time). http://tokyo-rail.com/index.php?main_page=specials&page=1 Link to comment
David
This isn't directed at you, but where are the specials? First thing I see that interests me is a 321 Series set - but it's "on sale" for $198. Then I see a Kato 787 Relay at 25% off - but that's from $205 ($20 more then Kato's MSRP) to $154 (Plaza has been selling it for $148 forever, and Hobby World sells it for $134). I went though the whole thing, and apart from some building collection stuff that's $9 instead of $10, and maybe that Tomix cleaning car which I'm too lazy too check on, I'm seeing stuff marked down from "NewHallStation" to "still more then Plaza Japan/Hobby Search, to say nothing of Hobby World". Is there something I'm missing? Do they have free shipping or something? Link to comment
to2leo
Hahaha could it be the case that they mark up the prices before they apply the sales? With these prices, I am glad I am going to Japan to check off my wish list next week! Link to comment
Guest ___
Just like Wal*Mart. they get you hooked on the juice, then jack up the price. Link to comment
disturbman
Tokyo Rail is allways very expensive and with a 20% to 25% sale they don't even come close to the other e-shops. Link to comment
