marknewton
Earlier this year my friend Ben spent some time in hospital after open heart surgery. A friend of his sent him a care parcel full of railway books that he'd been given by the family of a train driver he knew who'd passed away. Ben's friend thought they'd be better going to someone who'd appreciate them. So when Ben got home and was well enough to sort through the rather large number of books, one of the things he found was this: The book was published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Tenshodo's model railway business. It's mainly pictorial, and features a colour photo and brief description of every model they've made since 1949. It's a big, heavy and beautifully produced book. Knowing my interest in J-models Ben decided to pass it on to me, so I picked it up this afternoon when we went to visit him. I'm very grateful for his generosity in giving me this wonderful book. Its fascinating to see how the models have improved in quality over the years. Cheers, Mark. 7 Link to comment
