bill937ca
Modemo has announced it will do another run of the Toden 7000 used on the Arakawa line. These cars load from high platforms unlike most other Japanese streetcars. As such these cars will not be compatible with the Kato Unitram set up which uses a street level platform. Two cars were sold to Toyohashi in 1992 and 1999 (four a total of four) and have recently been issued by Modemo, but this is the first time the current Toden fleet livery has been available for several years. bill937ca
This car is now available although it was originally scheduled for late January. Not sure what happened. HWJ and HS have it in stock. http://www.hwjapan.com/sh/seeke.aspx?seek_code=MOD28206 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10102317 Remember, this is a high platform streetcar. Link to comment
Guest ___
If I recall the 7k series are due to be withdrawn from service soon. I wonder if they kicked up the production in expectation of the big farewell event for them. Link to comment

Guest ___
That makes sense. I always think the 7000's are older than the 7500's. Link to comment
