Sheffie
I need a power supply for my control panel. This is the box that sends out pulses of DC one way or the other to move the various points around the layout. The obvious source is the auxiliary power output on the side of the Kato control unit. But this is a non-standard two-way socket. So I'm left with the option of plugging in one of my Kato remote control switches (KATO 24-840) and hacking in to that to extract the power, or opening up the Kato controller itself and running wires out of there. In short, cannibalize a $6 switch or open up (and risk losing) a $65 controller. Any suggestions? Link to comment
