marknewton
Saw this earlier this evening: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=117&cat=train&state=0&sold=0&sortid=0&target=&searchkey=Tenshodo+T-Evolution The trains look good, but the improved SPUD will be very popular. And I'm keen to get a Tokyu 7200 series when they're released. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
Welshbloke
I like those KuMoYas. Might have to pre-order one and look at motorising later! I've seen many references to "H Rubber" on models now, Tenshodo are making these with that part in black or grey. What is it? Edited October 26, 2019 by Welshbloke Wossa H Rubber? Link to comment

What is it? It's the rubber sealant used around cab windows, which was traditionally white-ish colour but changed to black from the 1990s. https://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ymfpm554/41028523.html 1 1 Link to comment
Welshbloke
Ahh, thanks! I'd seen references to it on coaches but couldn't see what they were referring to. I've just pre-ordered a JR East one with black H rubber, a SPUD and a pack of trailer wheels/pickups. Hopefully four wheel drive will be enough for it and maybe a trailer or two later on. I notice that the posters mention the KuMoRu/KuRu 145 as a 2020 release, hopefully at similar prices. Link to comment
Welshbloke
Update, if you search Tenshodo on Instagram there appear to be some review samples in the wild, complete with motors and trailer axles. Body and paintwork look good, pantographs are rigid plastic but doubtless there's a suitable upgrade to sprung metal ones. There's a video of a pair of them running with a couple of 103 Series MoHas on YouTube, so hopefully the couplers are functional rather than just scale dummies. Link to comment
