At least good civic planning with the plaza!

 

I’ve been on the dc metro and Bart during mega events and it can get scary. At least Japanese are use to very crowded metro, in these situations here many only ride metro during events so they can get freaked in the heavy crowds and pushing and panic can ensue.

In these cases at home I walk to the previous station just to be sure I can get on the train. In this case I think this would not take more time than trying to reach the platform.
