Namba5
I came across a model of a Star21 experimental test train from JR East mislabeled as a 200-2000 series shinkansen (perhaps because of the box). I couldn't find any info of a brand, production date, or anyone other than 2 people who have posted anything about this train. Could this be a model kit? https://www.tsunagarubox.net/products/detail.php?product_id=2995 Edited August 30, 2019 by Namba5 Link to comment
Namba5
Heres some other photos of another person's Star21 scratch build. Still doesn't resemble the model in the listing so it's still a mystery. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D-PT8NiU8AI7Isp?format=jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DolItKbU8AEx_c2.jpg Link to comment
Kiha66
Star21 was a experimental one-off shinkansen made to test new generation technology. Looks like someone got a 200 series and kitbashed it to resemble the train. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STAR21 Link to comment

Perhaps someone has a good hand at building these things. Link to comment
cteno4
There was a garage company way back doing shells for the 300x that fit a standard Shinkansen set. jeff 1 Link to comment
