bc6
I'd like to letter some stuff with the JR logo and wanted to know if decals are made and where I can purchase them. Link to comment
bill937ca
I looked at HS and HWJ. I didn't find much. I find more searching for decal than with decals, but still it's not what you want. Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Tomix makes some, in fact! But the white colored ones have been more or less perpetually sold out :( http://www.1999.co.jp/search_e.asp?Typ1_c=104&scope=1&scope2=0&itkey=JR+Mark+Sheet Link to comment
inobu
If you ever wonder how they place the decal (text) on the car look toward the end on the video. A sponge pad? LOL "what a loser I am. I didn't put the video link" http://videos.howstuffworks.com/discovery/28132-how-its-made-model-trains-video.htm Inobu Link to comment

cteno4
bc6, if you want you can always print your own. decal paper works well in both inkjet and laser printers. just print them out and apply! only rub is you cant print white. to print white you have to print onto white decal paper and just cover all the non white areas with a color that then matches what you put your decal on or is part of the defined artwork. cheers, jeff Link to comment

cteno4
other trick would be to auto trace the art in a vector program like illustrator then you could color it and resize it to any size you want with full resolution! but with the art work at good sized you should be able to just paint bucket the color in the bit map and reduce the size and i doubt when reduced many fold you will see any jaggies. cheers jeff Link to comment
