IST
We visited Japan with my wife in October, 2018, we were in Tokyo and Kyoto. Months passed by and I have just started to organize my pictures and write some articles about it on my blog. First part is ready, it is from Enoshima, so I am pretty sure a lot of you guys have been there and know each places where I took the photos, but hey, maybe your are interested to see that places and trains again. So here it is in Hungarian https://vonatozasaink.blog.hu/2019/08/15/egy_nap_enoshiman and in English, translated automatically by Google (sorry for that but I think it is more understandable for you than the original lanugage). https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=&sl=hu&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fvonatozasaink.blog.hu%2F2019%2F08%2F15%2Fegy_nap_enoshiman 8 Link to comment

Keith
These photos are great IST. I was so close to the area earlier this year and didn’t even know it was there. One for the next visit file. Keith Link to comment

One for the next visit file. Thanks! It definitely worth a visit. I was thinking about to walk all length long next to the line and have more photos about the trains and the surrounding as it is only 10 km, but for that day it was planned to visit the Kato shop in Tokyo, so there was no time for that. We missed also the Great Buddha statue near Kamakura, I forgot that it is there and I realized it only a few days later. Link to comment

ben_issacs
IST, Good shots, but the Shonan system isn't a cableway, it's a suspended monorail, and worthwhile travelling on in its own right REgards, Bill, Melbourne.. . Link to comment

Yes, I know that and I wrote the same in Hungarian (függővasút), but Google translated into cable car (kábelvasút), that is totally different. Link to comment

IST
Little update here: As I got the Eizan line for my Nintendo Switch so could drove a lot on the line virtually, I made a blog post about our real travel by the Kirara train. As above, I brought you a Google translation link as the original post was written in Hungarian (and my English is not enough to write it in English). I hope you will enjoy the post anyway: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=hu&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fvonatozasaink.blog.hu%2F2019%2F12%2F23%2Fkirara_a_valosagban 2 Link to comment
