Report on 19-hour trip on Seishun 18 Kippu ticket

A well-known Japanese YouTube member posted a video of a circa 19 hour trip from Shinagawa to Kitakyushu (Kokura) using regular trains on a Seishun 18 Kippu ticket:

 

 

Adventurous, but I don't think I have the stamina to attempt this. It makes a just under 5-hour trip from Shinagawa to Kokura on the Nozomi Shinkansen look tolerable in comparison.

Over two weeks stopping at non touristy places would be good though.
