bill937ca
Here's one for you. An old brown passenger EMU and two ballast cars. Small enough even for the smallest layout. http://st614.blog85.fc2.com/blog-entry-165.html A link at the bottom suggests this is on the Jomo Electric Railroad, a local private railway running second-hand stock. http://www15.wind.ne.jp/~joden/index.htm http://www15.wind.ne.jp/~joden/700kei/700keisyoukai.html Link to comment
CaptOblivious
That's a great find, Bill! The cab car is a near (but not quite perfect) match with the Tomytec unit flooding eBay right now; I already have a ton of HOKI800; this will be a great train to run on Shogatsu when I pull it out of storage in a week or so. Guest ___
That is pretty cool. Reminds me of the old SEPTA stuff. Link to comment

And the car is in near prefect condition inside too! http://st614.blog85.fc2.com/blog-entry-343.html Link to comment
bill937ca
Here is another scene from the same blog that could be considered a work train. The blue and white train has just been delivered to the Izuhakone Railway by a JR freight train. I presume the red buffers signal a dead train. I believe the location is Odawara, but there also is a JR connection at Mishima. There are lots of details that could be copied here. The yellow tow motor, the blue collar staff and some un-standard uniforms. http://st614.blog85.fc2.com/blog-entry-339.html Here's the Wikipedia page on the Izuhakone Railway. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izuhakone_Railway Wikipedia Commons http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Rolling_stock_of_Izuhakone_Railway I found more photos of this event on another web site. http://llkusaba.karou.jp/railway/050822izuhakone/5000.htm Link to comment
